British Library extend reading room services

The Boston Spa Reading Room at the British Library have recently changed their policy so that visitors can order items from the St Pancras Reading Room in London as well as from Document Supply collections. This means that it is possible to view at Boston Spa some items not available on inter-library loan. You do need to pre-order 48 hours in advance (as well as preregistering for a reader pass), but about 85% of the London stock will be available to read in this way.

If you would like more information about this, our interlibrary loans team are happy to help. Their webpage has details of the reading room scheme, as well as contact details.
